What is the point of this site?

You will enjoy this site if you think of yourself as a geek/nerd but are tired of geek/nerd centric sites discussing politics, technology, and entertainment. We try to focus on history, science, photography, nostalgia, and otherwise obscure information.

What inspired this?

The Great Brain, Encyclopedia Brown, and every other trivia book that has ever existed. Internet wise: Something Awful, X-Entertainment, and Seanbaby. (Trust me, there are plenty of other sites.)

Why aren’t there more feature updates?

Features are generally updated once a week. They are entirely original and thoroughly researched, as a result it takes a bit longer for something to go from an idea to a completion. Se below if you think you can help.
